How moving into a SIL home usually works
It's less complicated than it feels. Here's the typical path — we'll walk you through every step.
1. A first conversation
Tell us about your family member — their needs, routines and what a good day looks like. No commitment.
2. Check the fit
We look at compatibility with the existing housemates, funding, and support needs. Honesty first — if we're not right, we'll say so.
3. Visit the home
Come and see the house, meet the team, and picture daily life. Bring whoever you need to.
4. Plan the move
We coordinate with your support coordinator and plan a gentle transition at a pace that suits your family member.
